The dissertation is the first comprehensive study of a problem of crime prevention by the non-governmental security organizations. The study gives the comprehensive analysis of the institutional framework of the formation and development of the private security organizations. It is proved that in Ukraine exists a real necessity of legal regulation of the activities of the private security structures.
