Essay

The work is dedicated to improve the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of patients with postinfarction heart failure (PIHF) in combination with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) by the appointment of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDHA) in combination with statins. It was found that patients with NAFLD more often had 3-vessel coronary artery disease and involvement of the trunk. In addition, it was found that NAFLD is associated with deterioration of left ventricular diastolic function and endothelium-dependent vasodilation (EDVD). Positive effect of combination therapy with UDCA on blood transaminases, CRP and lipid levels was proven. In patients receiving combination therapy improvement of systolic and diastolic LV function, and EDVD were observed.
