Blyshchyk D. Agrometeorological conditions of growth and development of winter wheat in autumn and winter periods in southern Ukraine

The object of investigation - changes in weather conditions and their impact on the autumn-winter growing season of winter wheat plants. The purpose of research - assessment of the current status and trends of changes in agrometeorological conditions and the development of system of ways for reducing of the impact of the negative effects of changes on the frost and winter hardiness formation of winter wheat in southern Ukraine. Research methods - morphophysiological and biochemical methods for determining of the state of plants, methods of mathematical statistics and mathematical modeling method for the production process of plants. Theoretical and practical results - a dynamic model of the hardiness of winter wheat is developed, methodology for evaluation work on frost hardiness is improved and sowing terms of winter wheat plants for the south of Ukraine with account of the latest trends in climate change are optimized. The novelty consists in the comprehensive study and modeling of physiological and biochemical processes of passing of the two phases of hardening of winter wheat plants that occur in modern agrometeorological conditions of the south of Ukraine. The degree of implementation - is implemented. The area of usage - the local authorities, hydrometeorological network, farms.
