Thesis deals with the scientific and practical problems of face identification by its television image. The was improved masking algorithms in paper to extract the contour of area of the face on the TV image. An improved algorithm allocates more precisely existing contour area of the face. Also, there have been proposed methods of calculation of undetermined coefficients to test the similarity of two images, which allow narrow search area of a person taken from a movie, among a plurality of reference images. There was proposed a method of controlling the automatic non-contact mode changing of tracking television system, which is to determine the range of angles of inclination of the face of the observer with its two-dimensional television image and depending on the angle that allows you to translate the system into a low power mode or vice versa. Also, there was proposed parametric method for calculating the minimum distance between the images with a shortage of raw data that identifies the tracking television system man partially disguised by foreign objects facial image.
