Thesis is devoted to the problem of poorly developed state price regulation in the sphere of economic activity in the science of government. Based on the study of price aspects of the economy are what kind of organizational and legal mechanism of state regulation of prices and ways to improve governance and legal regulation in the sphere of pricing. The theoretical and methodological aspects of state regulation of prices were studied in this work. Place and role of prices is revealed through the evolution of price theories and function of value that allows you to define the place of prices in the system of social production more clearly.
