Bazavluk A. Financial Support of Capital Investments for Development of Rail Transport of Ukraine

Theoretical and methodological basis for financial support of capital investment in rail transport of Ukraine has been developed in the thesis. Economic implications of fixed capital investment in the rail transport, with relevant forms and sources, have been analyzed. The role of fixed capital investment in enhancing the production potential of railway companies has been emphasized. Key sources of funding for rail transport companies have been defined. New classification method of capital investment in rail transport has been suggested, which is based on type of property, structure of production process, various types of fixed assets, type of expenditure, functional components of infrastructure, sources of funding, methods of capital investment implementation
