The object of stady - the process of thermocatalytic conversion of gas emissions. The purpose of research - detection of kinetic and gasdynamic regularities in thermocatalytic neutralization of gas emissions process and scientific justification the principles of the effective gas-purifying equipment development. Methods and equipment - experimental methods of optical microscopy; the X-ray diffraction analysis with use of the DRON-2.0 diffractometer; hydrodynamic methods for determining of gas velocities and flow rates; gravimetric methods of control of harmful substances concentration; measuring and control equipment for temperature determination, qualitative and quantitative composition of mixed gas streams; methods of mathematical modeling and mathematical statistics with the use of mathematical packages MathCAD and GNU Octave; the basic principles of the theory of hydrodynamics, chemical kinetics, mass transfer and physical chemistry. Theoretical and practical resuls: the calculation and design procedure of the gas-purifying equipment is developed; the procedure of creation thermo - and mechanically resistant ceramic carriers and applying on their surface of the catalysts which aren't containing precious metals is practically realized . Scientific novelty: the technique of rational compositions identification of ceramic catalysts carriers materials with the imposed properties is developed; the mathematical model for the description course of thermocatalytic process hydrocarbons neutralization on the ceramic carrier in kinetic and diffusion areas on the catalyst - cobalt oxide is offered; the method of the catalytic gas-purifying equipment calculation is developed on the basis of which gas emissions cleaning blocks for waste-processing installation with a productivity of 100 kg/h are calculated and manufactured. Implementation: NESC NASU (North-East Scientific Center of National Academy of Science of Ukraine), educational process on chair “Computer-integrated technological process and production”. Scope of use: creation of gas emissions cleaning systems to the industrial enterprises and research, design and other profile organizations.
