Ioshina N. Neurological manifestations of posttraumatic cystic formations of the brain, the ways of their correction

The dissertation is devoted to the study of neurological manifestations of posttraumatic cystic formations of the brain and ways of optimization of their correction based on the integrated analysis of clinical-morphological and functional characteristics of posttraumatic cystic formations of the brain (clinical-neurological, neuro-psychological, neuro-imaging (CT-, MRI- imaging, electroencephalography) investigations). The complex examination of 315 patients allowed us to clarify the features of formation of posttraumatic cystic formations of the brain, clinical manifestations, such as a cephalgic syndrome, focal neurological symptoms, symptomatic epilepsy, cognitive disorders, emotional disorders and vegetative dysfunction in depending on the morphological structure, size, quantity, localization of cystic formations in connection with head trauma, which the patients underwent. It presents the results of treatment of cognitive disorders in patients who had symptomatic epilepsy else by the neuropeptides drug.
