The focus of the thesis research is the complex investigation, theoretical and methodological validation of improving the mechanisms of environmental and economic development of the region in Ukraine. Main categories, terms and their correspondence have been determined. Theoretical bases in the study of concepts and content of public administration mechanisms of environmental and economic development of the region have been systemized. The features and factors of influence on public administration of environmental and economic development of the region have been summarized and analyzed.
