Object: the process of forming future teachers' lexical competence in teaching English after German. Aim: to substantiate theoretically and elaborate the methodology of forming future teachers' lexical competence in speaking in teaching English after German. Practical value: the subsystem of exercises and the model of forming future teachers' lexical competence in speaking in teaching English after German have been worked out, methodological recommendations have been developed and a textbook has been prepared. Methods: theoretical, empirical, methods of mathematical statistics.
