Salmanov A. Priorities of foreign policy of Ukraine and Azerbaijan - comparative political analysis

The dissertation is devoted to comparative political analysis of the foreign policy priorities of Azerbaijan and Ukraine. The author studies different approaches of Ukrainian, Azerbaijani and foreign scientists to the concept of foreign policy in the post-socialist countries. At the same time exploring existing theoretical researches on genesis of the foreign policy priorities of Azerbaijan and Ukraine 'the author comes to conclusion that scientists don't pay necessary attention to the comparative method while analyzing this phenomenon. At the same time the comparative analysis provides an opportunity to use the best achievements and experience of these countries in foreign policy since independence for further strengthening international position of both states.
