Kudriavtsev O. E-governance in the context of legitimation of political power

Object - e-government. The objective is to define of the specificity and the basic aspects of e-government in the context of legitimation of political power. Methods - systematic, comparative, structural, functional and others. The theoretical and practical results includes the potentials of e-governance as a means of legitimizing of the political power. The novelty lies in proving that e-government is a long-term political strategy for development technically determined information society; uncovered that the creation of an e-government depends on the objective (new information technologies) and subjective (level of information culture) factors; it was proved that the introduction of e-government determines the growth of citizens' trust in political power; the author's definition of e-government was introduced. The rate of implementation consists in improving the strategy development of e-governance in modern Ukraine. The scope of application covers social and political institutions, power structure, analytical and educational activities.
