Essay

Dissertation is a complex research of the continuing crimes in a criminal law of Ukraine. The history of continuing crimes and the current state of appropriate theme investigations are examined. The features of continuing crime are determined and divided on general and special (particular). The content of concept “continuing crime performance time” is explained. The continuing crimes list for the valid Ukrainian Criminal Code is determined and the classification of continuing crimes is realized. The specificities of continuing crime beginning and ending are investigated, the place of continuing crimes in a system of criminal law institutions is explored and the relation of continuing crimes with contiguous concepts is examined. The influence of continuing crimes duration on these crimes degree is analyzed. The significance of features of continuing crime for law of criminal responsibility and amnesty law application about persons, whose such crimes commit, is explored. For improvement the order of application the legislative norms about continuing crimes and other crimes, which continuous character have, the proposals to changing Ukrainian Criminal Code and Ukrainian Law “About application of amnesty in Ukraine” are formulated.
