Essay

The investigation results of forming productivity and quality of sugar beet roots as depending on system of fertilizers and pre-predecessors in the conditions of Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine are presented in the dissertation. Research results allowed defining the most effective system of fertilizers and pre-predecessors for growing sugar beet hybrids of different biological forms, determining complex influence of fertilizers and pre-predecessors on main metabolic processes, dimension and duration of leaves functioning, intensity photosynthesis processes, dynamic of sugar accumulation in the roots, taking out nutrition by crops. Maximum productivity of sugar beet was got under growing threeploidic hybrid of yield-sugar direction Romul in the chain with peas and combined applying "Parostok", 4 t/ha + N90P60K90: roots yield - 77 t/ha, sugar content - 17,1 %, sugar harvest - 13,1 t/ha. Application of 40 t/ha manure + N90P60K90 and N90P60K90 decreased sugar harvest of hybrid Romul in comparing with alternative organic-mineral system of fertilizers ("Parostok", 4 t/ha + N90P60K90) - reciprocally on 1,4 and 2,9 t/ha. Growing hybrid Khorol under organic-mineral system of fertilizers was accompanied by decrease of sugar harvest in comparing with hybrid Romul on 1,0-1,2 t/ha.
