Kovalenko O. Development and efficiency of horticultural enterprises

The object of study is the development and efficient functioning of horticultural enterprises in Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions. The purpose of research is to substantiate the organizational and economic basis of horticultural enterprises activities of different organizational forms and to create methodological approaches for comparing and improving economic efficiency. Research methods are dialectical, historical; graphical; abstract and logical, deductive, inductive methods and correlation and regression, comparative analysis and statistical clustering, modeling and questioning. Scientific novelty of the obtained results is the theoretical and methodological substantiation of practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of enterprises different organizational and legal forms in horticulture. For the first time it was calculated the economic feasibility of the production of strawberries for organic in terms of right-bank foreststeppe of Ukraine and developed a brand for its manufacturers, which will increase sales of this type of berries and allow a better forecast; developed logistic model elasticity of consumer demand for berries, depending on the place Sales and method of production, which indicates the provision of advantages of local food products and their unwillingness to buy organic products as a way; while consumers equate the concept of "local" and "organic" products.
