Storchak G. Justification parameters of the method to ensure the sustainability of the main workings in coal mines of Western Donbass

The thesis deals with determination of regularities of interaction between metal sup-port of permanent workings of Western Donbas mines and rock mass in terms of load imbalance as well as substantiation of the parameters of technique improving their sta-bility. Functional and exponential dependences between ratio of mining conditions ? and the parameter estimating conditions of mine workings have been obtained; it allows forecasting maintenance-and-repair costs. It has been proved that under similar mining and geological conditions and cross-sections of mine workings areas of non-elastic deformations are almost analogous which makes it possible to simplify numerical models. Numerical experiments to determine ra-tio of horizontal stress on basic geomechanical parameters of border mass have been car-ried out. That helped prove the importance of its effect on the stability of mine workings. Effect of external load on metal support unsymmetry has been estimated; it has been de-termined that six wedging points are quite sufficient to level curves of bending moments within a frame and to improve its efficiency. The proposed technical solutions have been tested under mining conditions. Devia-tion from theoretical results is not more than 24%. The expected economic efficiency is UAH 370 per a meter.
