Yavorska N. Economic principles of eco-innovative development of woodworking

In the dissertation the theoretical and methodological provisions to ground economic fundamentals of eco-innovation development of timber production are revealed. In particular the economic content, meaning and characteristics of eco-innovation development of timber production at the present stage of economic development of Ukraine are studied. Conceptual provisions of eco-innovation development of timber production are improved. A model of eco-innovation development of timber production is suggested. The features of innovation ecological timber production are investigated. The modern trends of woodworking enterprises are highlighted and ecological and economic problems of timber production in Ukraine are discovered. Existing scientific and methodological approaches to assessing ecological innovation activity are analysed and a number of shortcomings that necessitated the development of the system of specific indicators and improvement of methodological approaches are identified. Methodological approaches to the identification of eco-innovation development of timber production by constructing a hierarchical system of parameters are improved and tested for woodworking enterprises in Ukraine in 2006-2013 рр. Approaches to the formation of the optimal strategy of eco-innovation development of timber production are grounded and proposals to provide an incentive for ecological innovation development of timber production are generated.
