Kutsyi R. Threat as a way of committing a crime in the criminal law of Ukraine

The thesis is a comprehensive and systematic elaboration of the threat as a way of committing a crime. The theoretical and methodological principles of researching the threat as a way of committing a crime are reviewed, the genesis of the development of national legislation concerning liability for the threat, and especially the description of signs of the threat in the criminal law of foreign countries are being analyzed in the work. The content of objective aspect (actus reus) and mental element (mens rea) of the threat are concretized. It is established that the outward manifestation of the threat as a way of committing a crime should be considered in the light of the following characteristics: the threat as the acting; the content of the threats; the form (method) of expressing the threat; the way of delivering the threat to; the moment of completing the threat. All these features are studied in detail in the work.
