Thesis is devoted to the research of the constitutional and legal status of the Speaker in Ukraine and foreign countries on the basis of a comparative analysis. The present state of the research in the area of a comparative analysis of the constitutional and legal status of the Speaker is studied and revealed. Normative and legal regulation of the constitutional and legal Speaker's status in Ukraine and foreign countries is considered. Author's definition of constitutional and legal status of the Speaker is formulated, its elements, the content and guarantees have been defined.
