Essay

The thesis presents analysis of referendum lawmaking concept, determines features peculiar for the researched kind of lawmaking in Ukraine. Periodization of genesis of referendum lawmaking of the Ukrainian people was established. The author has found out peculiarities of correlation of referendum to other forms of direct participation of citizens in lawmaking. Classification of kinds of referendums and referendum lawmaking was improved. Author's approach to the process of realization of constitutional and legislative referendum lawmaking in Ukraine was offered. Juridical nature of legal acts of the all-Ukrainian referendum, which is the result of direct lawmaking of the Ukrainian people, was studied.
