Lyashchenko P. The use of intraabdominal absorption-transmembrane dialysis in comprehensive treatment of patients with generalised peritonitis

Thesis deals with the actual problem of Surgery to improve the results of surgical treatment in generalised peritonitis patients. The original method for prolonged sanitation of abdomen cavity was developed and it was used in patients with generalised peritonitis. Basing on the clinical trial we have found that the trans-membrane dialysis affects the range of endogenous intoxication and markers of inflammation and factors affecting multiple organ failure. It is proved that intra-abdominal absorption-transmembrane dialysis in patients with generalised peritonitis provides active correction of endogenous toxemia and prevention of multiple organ failure syndrome. We witnessed the clinical utility of applying the emulsion "Syliks" sorbent as a solution for dialysis. Embedded into practice the method of drainage of abdominal cavity allowes to improve significantly the treatment outcomes for patients with generalised peritonitis: to reduce the incidence of postoperative complications in 33,0% and mortality rate - 11,0%.
