Essay

The political forecasting and its role in shaping of public policy are investigated in the thesis. The theoretical and methodological principles study of political forecasting are determined. The criteria for systematization of political forecasting methods and their classification are developed. The relationship of political forecasting and public policy are investigated. An algorithm of researching of alternative ways of policy and the main directions of political forecasting are analyzed. The specificity of use of political forecasting in policy of Ukraine is determined and prospects of optimization of this process are researched.
