The present thesis considers the theoretic provision for the formation of finan-cial security of a business entity. The wording has been formed for the notion of "fi-nancial security of a business entity". The notion of financial security has been clari-fied. Main and inherent functions of the financial mechanism of financial security as well as the fundamental truth and principles of its functions have been defined. The hierarchy of the tasks for the financial mechanism of enterprise protection has been formed; its structural organization has been analyzed. Modern level of financial security for business entities has been defined ac-cording to separate indexes and overall performance indexes. The group of most in-formative indexes for financial security level has been distinguished; system of its quality assessment has been formed (financial security passport) basing on consistent pattern of financial security dynamics according to the industry. The theoretical model for policy-making bodies' cooperation has been devel-oped in conditions of fully operating financial security mechanism for business enti-ties in stable financial position as well as those in unstable financial position in ap-propriate conditions. The directions for financial security system management adap-tation have been determined with regard to uncertainty; the models for balanced con-dition of business entities have been developed. Function oriented stratagem system has been formed for enterprise financial security management.
