Masliy I. Institutional mechanism to counteract criminalization of economy: criminological study.

The thesis describes the criminological study of the institutional mechanism to counteract criminalization of economy. Criminological peculiarities of economic crime determination from an institutional perspective are considered. The author provides the criminological and institutional legal characteristics of economic crime, organized forms of crime and corruption crimes in economics as types of illegal social institutions; the concept and content of the institutional mechanism to counteract criminalization of economy are defined. Based on the results of the study the author outlines the functions of specialized state subjects (institutions) combating the criminalization of economic relations in Ukraine; the assessment of institutional and legal foundation for anti-corruption actions in the mechanism to counteract criminalization of economy is described; the author suggests ways to improve the legal and informational support of interaction and coordination of activities in combating economic crime.
