Golovnia I. Alienation of land plots for social needs or for reasons of social necessity as the ground for termination of ownership over a land plot.

The thesis is devoted to the complex research of theoretical and practical problems of alienation of land plots for social needs or for reasons of social necessity. The thesis defnes specifcs of a land plot as an object of civil relations; peculiarities of private ownership over land plots are revealed; the concept and legal nature of alienation of land plots for social needs or for reasons of social necessity are defned. The features of alienation of a land plot for social needs or for reasons of social necessity in the system of grounds of termination of ownership are analyzed, the procedure of alienation of land plots for social needs or for reasons of social necessity is examined. Special attention is drawn to the determination of the recovery of cost of a land plot and objects of immovable property located thereon, and to the alienation of a land plot for social needs or for reasons of social necessity. Theoretically substantiated proposals and recommendations for improvement of national legislation on alienation of land plots for social needs or for reasons of social necessity were formulated.
