In the dissertation the theoretical principles and practical aspects of improvement of management of city infrastructure are considered. It is proved that management of infrastructure development of the cities of regional status needs to be considered as continuous process which is based on the accounting of administrative potential and real influences of all set of subjects of management on level and quality of infrastructure security of a development of the city; program and target approach which provides that infrastructure projects are part of strategy of infrastructure development of the highest level; public and private partnership.
