Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the principle of proportional construction of traditional wooden churches in the Western Ukraine. A full-scale study identified gaps in existing research proportionality Ukrainian traditional temple construction. Defined common patterns of traditional proportionate construction, identified two principle of proportional construction of planning structure and four variants of high-altitude building of the temple. There are two principle of proportional construction of the churches in Opillian and Boikiv schools that formed three-structural construction. There are four principles of the proportional construction of the planned structure which are determined. Regularity of the proportional construction of crusiformed churches in Hutsulschyna is defined.
