Kaluzhska V. Evolution of Variety Show Art in the Context of Mass Culture: Philosophical and Anthropological analysis

Dissertation is a consistent study, in which complex analysis of the phenomenon stageism of variety show art in the context of mass culture of the XX - XXI centuries was conducted. The paper defined the cultural and historical specificity of forming stage variety show genres. Characteristics of the spectacle as a cultural and historical phenomenon was provided, which was presented in a stage space of a variety show. Variety show art was characterized as a means of institutionalizing mass shows as a stage synthesis of postmodern artistic practices. Mass culture of the first half of the XX century is presented as a variety show-stage synthesis.
