Essay

The thesis is aimed to review the principles of respect to the human rights and freedoms in the criminal and executive legislation and during execution and serving of time. It studies the current state of scientific approaches to the principles of criminal and executive law and legislation. The thesis considers the international human right standards and the international standards on convict treatment to identify to what extent these standards are implemented in the execution practice of Ukraine. The thesis identifies the principles of respect to the human rights and freedoms and reviews the main constituents and content of these principles in the criminal and executive legislation and during execution and serving of time. It also reviews the system that ensures implementation of these principles at legal level in human rights activities. The Thesis defines proposals on change and complementation to the present criminal and executive legislation of Ukraine to further improve the human rights and freedoms respect principles.
