Essay

Thesis deals with the influence of tumor biology (gene expression Her-2/neu and VEGF) the clinical course and treatment efficacy borderline ovarian tumors in patients. It was established that the expression of Her-2/neu and VEGF in tumor cells are individual indicators of biological activity ВОТ. The obtained results in heterogeneous expression of HER-2/neu and VEGF in tumor cells indicate the existence of two subtypes of serous ВОТ with different potencies to proliferation and angiogenesis, giving rise BOT division into 2 groups expressing HER-2/neu and VEGF in tumor cells or, by analogy with ovarian cancer, identify signs of high-grade tumors marginal and low-grade, which in turn in determining these categories of patients will allow more individual treatment plan (organ or use aggressive approaches, given the high risk of recurrence after 5 years or more. The criteria and indications for organ treatment and chemotherapy as an additional method of influence on tumor process. Identified the most frequent occurrence timing and location of recurrence BOT depending on the morphological structure of the tumor, extent of tumor spread and extent of treatment. On the basis of reproductive function in women undergoing organ treatment BOT presented new aspects of medical and social rehabilitation of patients.
