Kharevych A. Lending capacity of the banking system of Ukraine in terms of dollarization

The thesis is devoted to deepening theoretical and methodical approaches to the analysis of lending capacity of the banking system and the grounding of practical recommendations for its capacity under dollarization. Based on system analysis and synthesis of existing theoretical views on the nature of lending capacity of the banking system the author's definition has been made. This definition expands existing understanding of potential bank credit to the scale of the banking system and emphasizes the role of monitoring the redistributive process by the central bank. The mechanism of influence of dollarization of the credit capacity of the banking system based on determining factors of financial dollarization and algorithm of its appearance have been revealed. Altogether they form the basis for state regulation of the negative effects of dollarization. The genesis of dollarization of the banking system of Ukraine has been studied in the context of dollarization of global economy and the impact of globalization. The methodical approach to assessing the impact of dollarization on the potential credit capacity of banking system of Ukraine has been suggested.
