Usatyi D. Derivative financial instruments of hedging risks in agribusiness

This dissertation is devoted to the deepening of scientific and methodical principles and development of practical recommendations concerning the improvement of derivative financial instruments of hedging risks in agribusiness use. In this work, the risks, which are characteristic for the modern agribusiness and principles of their management, are analyzed. The factors that specified the evolution of approaches to the risk management in agribusiness and appearance of new instruments of risks management are determined. The derivative financial instruments of hedging risks in agribusiness are characterized. The role of the market of derivative financial instruments in the functioning of modern agribusiness on the global level is shown. The peculiarities of development of derivative market for food on the modern stage are determined. The ways of improvement of Ukraine's legislation on the questions of functioning of agribusiness and financial market are grounded. The conceptual principles of stimulating of risk management system development on the domestic agricultural enterprises are proposed. The measures that help to advance the use of hedging strategies in agriculture Ukraine are determined. The ways of adaptation of domestic system of risk management on the agribusiness enterprises to the international standards and principles are disclosed. The opportunities of implementation of foreign experience functioning of the market of agricultural derivatives in Ukraine are determined.
