Tupitsin V. Оrganizational provision of representative body local self-government's activity in Ukraine.

The aim of the study is to identify the characteristics of organizational support of the representative body of local self-government in Ukraine, to develop theoretical positions and practical recommendations for its improvement. The object of study is the institution of local government in Ukraine. The subject of the research is the organizational support of the representative body of local self-government in Ukraine. The dissertation presents the results of the research of process and procedures in the organization of the local councils in Ukraine as a representative body of local government, summarizes the theoretical principles of local self-government, the tendency to convergence of local government theories. The study of the historical background of the organization of institutions of local government in Ukraine has allowed improving periodization of local government evolution in Ukraine; as well as the analysis of organizational and legal principles of local governments activity has allowed to improve proposals as to the organization of local councils in Ukraine.
