Dissertation is sanctified to the improvement of methods of diagnosticating of sources from the gas pipelines of gas networks of subzero and middle pressure as a result of corrosive damages of walls of pipes. Research of influence of parameters of the mode is executed on the expense of source and amendments are brought in theoretical calculation models. On the basis of researches of filtration of gas conformities to law of forming of natural habitat of gas contamination are set in soil. The mathematical models of transients are created in the gas networks caused by appearance of source and character of consumption of gas, methodology of diagnosticating is improved as a result. On the basis of experimental research process gas leakage under pressure found that significant differences in determining the costs of leakage between projections and actual data due to a number of inappropriate assumptions in analytical studies, and based on the established laws proposed amendments dependence for compensation in the form of factor costs hole.
