Essay

The thesis is devoted to improving the methods of the hydraulic efficiency coefficient forecasting of the pipelines and complex gas transmission systems taking into consideration energy consumption while transporting. It is shown that dissipative energy losses in gas transmission might be estimated by the relative magnitude of the heat transfer from the gas to the environment, and they can have a significant impact on energy gas stream; the neglection of them in the mathematical models lead to error in determining the coefficient. Suggested the method and developed the complex hydraulic efficiency gas transmission calculation algorithm and their individual sections in terms of quasi-stationary gas flow. Shown the mathematical model and conducted the study of the impact of the track extraction and emergency gas leaks from the pipelines onto the hydraulic efficiency coefficient.
