The thesis is dedicated to the reviewing of formation history and special aspects of Ukrainian astronomical terminology end XIX - the first third of the twentieth century; the lexical-semantic terminology relations of astronomy had been analyzed; the features of structural Ukrainian word creation of astronomical terminology had been reviewed; the sources of replenishment astronomical terminology had been characterized; the contrastive analysis of Ukrainian astronomical terminology end XIX - the first third of the twentieth century and of modern astronomical terminology had been executed, the ways of ordering astronomical terminology had been proposed.
