Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the age features of the rat’s liver reparative regeneration in the case of the chronic tetrachloromethane hepatitis. Found out that for the immature and mature rats with chronic tetrachloromethane hepat itis is observed higher percentage of polyploid (8C, 16C) nuclei of liver cells compared to those of intact animals of the similar age. Research of the cell cycle phase changes showed an increase in the percentage of hepatocytes nuclear DNA that are in S-phase of the cell cycle in groups of immature and mature rats, in the group of old rats observed increasing of the percentage of cells in G1 and G2 / M cell cycle phases. In groups of immature and old rats hepatocyte’s DNA fragmentation level was higher than at the intact rats of the same age, while in the group of mature rats significant decrease of this data in comparison with the intact group is marked. Among mature and old rats with chronic tetrachloromethane hepatitis indicated higher levels of IGF-1 compared to intact animals of similar age. In all age groups of the rats with chronic tetrachloromethane hepatitis an increase of TGF-В1 contents is found. According to the data of electronic microscopy established that immature rat’s hepatocytes with chronic tetrachloromethane hepatitis die due to apoptosis and necrosis. Hepatocytes of the mature rats with chronic toxic hepatitis die mainly due to the death of apoptosis and of the old rats – due to necrosis
