Dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and legal analysis of the legal progress as the dynamic characteristics of the legal system to determine its structural components; research of the genesis and fundamental approaches to understanding the legal progress. It is noted, that the legal progress as a social phenomenon has a systematic nature, which is based on the increase of quality of the legal system relationships in the progress of their complexity and improvement of the efficiency of relationships.
