Essay

The thesis is devoted to the analysis of the system of law of modern Iraq in terms of the combination of Islamic law traditions and innovations aimed at guaranteeing human rights and the democratic legal development. The specifics of the system of law as a subject of comparative legal studies in connection with the legal system is revealed. Author shows the place of system of law of Iraq in classification of systems of law of the Middle East’s countries. The milestones in establishing a system of law of Iraq, which influenced the formation of its legal system, are shown and characterized.
