The thesis is devoted to clinical and immunological features of rotavirus infection, which proceeds with disaccharidase deficiency when it affects children. It was found that children with genotype C/C-13910 LCT lactase gene is characterized by less severe form of the disease; with C/T-13910 LCT gene observed tendency of the disease to have more severe form. In the development of rotavirus infection induced phase changes in the concentration of antimicrobial peptides. The high concentration of calprotectin in feces pediatric patients with rotavirus can be a marker of a risk of pancreatic cancer. Rotavirus infection mostly is accompanied by increasing of lactoferrin concentration in oropharyngeal secretions by 3.4 times and serum by 1.5-2 times. Risk factors for rotavirus, which requires hospital treatment of a patient were established: autumn-winter season, the age 2-4 years old, food allergies, intolerances to dairy products and anemia. Early signs of rotavirus infection that will require treatment of a patient in a hospital, for children with acute gastroenteritis can be considered: the severity of intoxication, febrile, acetonemia, flatulence, combined with pain. The prescription of medication containing exogenous lactase for children with rotavirus enteritis can improves general health condition, reduce the severity of clinical and laboratory signs of secondary lactase deficiency, reduce the duration and severity of diarrheal syndrome.
