Essay

The thesis highlights the problem of training of foreign students - future music teachers - to be a choirmaster. There is given scientific credence for approach, didactical principles and pedagogical conditions for improvement of the effectiveness of education process; developed, tested and endorsed the methodology for choirmasters' training of foreign students with due regard to their art mentality, special features to acquire information in the foreign language, requirement of adaptation to new social cultural, art educational conditions.The diagnostic method is developed and scientifically proven to state the students' readiness to be a choirmaster. There are described the levels of students' availability to lead the choir. The efficiency of proposed methods is verified experimentally; its reasonability for the practical use at higher school is proved.
