The paper deals with the peculiarities of preventive measures aimed at reducing menopausal disorders in women with unspecified benign uterine or ovarian tumors. Diagnostic criteria for early and late complications of natural and surgical menopause have been developed by studying the clinical course of the above conditions and the homeostasis system in the examined patients. Based on comprehensive clinical, lab and instrumental examination of women with unspecified benign uterine or ovarian tumors, the author provides a scientifically justified analysis of the psychovegetative syndrome severity and its specific signs, including sleep and mood disorders. It has been established that, along with an increased frequency and severity of the climacteric syndrome, the examined patients tend to suffer from psychopathologic disorders with a more severe degree of psychological disadaptation. The patients also tend to demonstrate early development of vascular metabolic disorders with dyslipoproteinemia, hypercoagulation and a hypertensive syndrome. It has been proven that the coagulation properties and the lipid spectrum of blood need to be monitored even at the early climacteric stage.
