Tymofiiv T. The Economic Efficiency of Milk Production and Processing in the Lviv Region

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of milk production and processing efficiency increasing. The essence of the concept "efficiency" is revealed and the factors influencing on the process of its formation are systematized. The system "production - processing of milk" is distinguished in the milk productive subcomplex structure. The estimation of the milk production and milk processing economic efficiency is conducted. The appreciable influence of the economic environment on the economic relation between agricultural and processing enterprises is found out. It is distinguished the subsystem of the state regulation and the subsystem of economic exchange providing in the milk productive subcomplex institutional infrastructure. The ways of improving the institutional system of "production - processing of milk" functioning is grounded. The necessity of integration relations to improve the production and processing of milk is proved. The system of measures to reform the enterprises of the milk productive subcomplex in the context of European integration is developed.
