Essay

The thesis is devoted to the optimization of the diagnostics and increase of an effectiveness of the treatment patients with acute pain syndrome (APS) caused by chronic discogenic lumbosacral radiculopathy based on clinical, psychodiagnostic and lab investigation. Clinical and paraclinical peculiarities of acute pain syndrome were detected in 100 patients. Clinical, psychodiagnostic parameters, indices of cartilaginous tissue metabolism and nociciptive system in patients with acute pain syndrome were studied caused by chronic discogenic lumbosacral radiculopathy L5-S1 based on different treatment plans. Maximal clinical effectiveness of complex treatment with lornoxicam, therapeutic effect of chondroitin sulfate and positive influence of directive hypnotism in patients with high level of anxiety and depression was proved.
