Essay

The thesis presents a systematic study of artistic and philosophical peculiarity of Olga Mak's prose. Analysis and interpretation of little known novels ("Zhaira", "Against conviction") and stories ("The Oddity", "Pathway of the fate", "Stones under the scythe") of the author are based on the integrated combination of hermeneutic, phenomenological, typological and structural methods including elements of the biographical approach and myth criticism.
