Research object: the formation of labor potential of the enterprise; the purpose of the work: the development of theoretical positions and methodical providing of labor potential engineering companies; research methods and techniques: methods of theoretical generalization and morphological analysis, logic synthesis, analysis and synthesis, method of taxonomy, statistical analysis, cluster analysis, multivariate regression-correlation analysis, multivariate factor analysis, graphical method; theoretical and practical results: the instruments forming labor potential of industrial enterprise on the basis of qualified production personnel, based on the principles of competence approach and the developed competency profile masters of manufacturing sites; methodical approach to assessing the degree of competence of masters manufacturing sites that based on the definition of professional and personal competencies and building a grid of measurement allows to determine the direction of improving competencies and matching the worker's position; methodical approach to determine the impact indicators of labor potential on the performance of companies that based on distribution companies into homogeneous groups in terms of integral indicator status and degree of use of labor potential of enterprise and choice in quality resulting from the group performance of average output per employee; determining the composition and structure of labor potential sources of external enterprise and internal environment and their relationship with the processes aimed at searching, personnel selection and change of the existing employees who taking into account specified by the author interconnection environments and processes; study of the relationship of labor potential reproduction cycle of labor mentality and competence of personnel, in contrast to previous studies, considering the mentality of labor as the basis of phases of the reproductive cycle of labor potential, accompanied by a comprehensive development; the degree of implementation: developments are put in practice OJSC "Turboatom", LLC "Plant propelled chassis" Simon Kuznets KNUE in teaching discipline "Human Resources"; sphere of the use: HR engineering companies, educational process.
