Essay

The thesis is devoted to studying of theoretical, methodological and practical recommendations for environmental management at food industry enterprises. The paper developed conceptual and categorical framework of the environmental management. We have considered and generalized the points of view of scientists on the theory of environmental management. We have studied development evolution of environmental standards. We have also studied the tendencies of implementing environmental standards in Ukraine and in the world in general. In the paper we have analyzed the environmental charges by enterprises and pollutant emissions into the atmosphere in Ukraine. We have studied the results of environmental management operation at enterprises of Vinnytsia region and leading food industry enterprises in Ukraine. We have determined the ways of reducing the negative impact of food industry enterprises on the environment. We have developed the methodical approach to the development of environmental management based on modeling of efficiency and quality of environmental management. The paper has offered the method of calculating the integrated assessment of quality and effectiveness of environmental management that is based on the measurement results of enterprise impact on the environment and on the part of stakeholders of environmental management system operation.
