This thesis studies linguistic means of the moral and ethical concepts representation in Ukrainian linguistic world. The object under study is the content and structure of the concepts SIN and SHAME in the Ukrainian phraseology, proverbs, XX - XXI centuries prose and in linguistic awareness among today's youth. The research reveals the role of moral and ethical concepts in the linguistic world image of the Ukrainians.
