This thesis focuses on the structural-semantic and lingvo-pragmatic aspects of ritual genres of Ukrainian political discourse represented by inaugural addresses, opening addresses, congratulatory and gratitude speeches, obituaries and condolence speeches. The research outlines the role of political discourse ritualization and defines it as one of the aspects of the staged political communication along with mythology and theatricalization.
