Essay

Object - circulation of sulfur in the fertilizers-soil-plant system. Purpose - to improve the diagnostic of soil providing with mobile sulfur compounds and optimizing sulfur nutrition of winter wheat on the chernozems of the left-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Methods - fields, laboratory- analytic, computational-comparative and mathematical-statistical. Theoretical results - developed the theoretical approaches to solving the task of improving the soil diagnosis of mobile sulfur provision for optimization sulfur nutrition of winter wheat based on complex assessment of different chains of sulfur circulation, including revenues with fertilizers and from atmosphere precipitation, on the typical and podzolic chernozems of the left-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. It was established, that the long-term using of the different fertilizer system essentially changes content of sulfur compounds in the soil. The higher migration capacity of mobile sulfur compound was determined their seasonal redistribution in the soil profile and forming temporary layers with enhanced or low concentration of this element, it was defined. Practical results - scientifically substantiated necessity of monitoring of sulfur revenues and subtraction in the agrocenoses, which will be enable for agricultural producers to stabilize yield and quality of winter wheat seeds using timely holding measures of mineral nutrition optimization. For improvement objectivity (authenticity) the diagnostic of soil provision of mobile sulfur compounds was proposed to determine supply of mobile sulfur in the 60-cm layer. It was established, that mineral fertilizer system with sulfur-containing fertilizers creates the non-deficit balance of sulfur in the soil and supports the content of its mobile forms in arable layer at the stable level. It was justified, by cost-effectiveness using sulfur-containing fertilizers for winter wheat, especially for heightened nutrition nitrogen, on the chernozems of the left-bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Novelty - improvement diagnostic of soil providing with mobile sulfur compounds for optimizing nutrition with due regard to term and sampling depth, actions and aftereffects of fertilizers, including sulfur from atmospherical condensation and expected yield of for winter wheat. For the first time determined: changes of soil provision of mobile sulfur compounds and its balance in the field crop rotations by using different fertilizing systems; regularity of redistribution mobile sulfur compounds in the typical and podozolized chernozems, which are creating conditions of seasonal sulfur nutrition deficit of plants. Degree of application - results of the research activities was applied in Government-owned institution "Institute soil preservation of Ukraine" for improving methods of agrochemical certification of lands and soils - agrochemical inspection. Suggested approach up to diagnostic and optimizing of winter wheat sulfur nutrition was applied in LLC "Agroset" Balakliysky district of Kharkiv region on the area of the 374 ha and Limited liability Company LLC SPF "Urozhay" Korsun- Shevchenkіvskogo district of Cherkasy region on the area of the 1544.82 ha. Materials of dissertation are used in the educational process of high education establishments to preparing bachelors and masters in the sphere of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. The field is agriculture.
